The community thanks you for supporting Central Corridor Light Rail’s 2008 bonding request of $70 million dollars. 

The Central Corridor Partnership is a coalition of businesses, government, labor and nonprofits that recognize the tremendous economic potential and community revitalization that will come with an efficient transit system in the Metro Area. This was a critical year for the Central Corridor project and the $70 million in bonding is part of the commitment needed to comply with federal requirements and move the project into the final design.

The diligent work of many and effective compromise ensure that the Central Corridor meets Minnesota’s transportation needs in a cost-effective manner.  You have played a crucial role in this project and it would not have been possible without your bold leadership. Thank you.
